The Banks Power SmartLock Transmision Brake - 55270 is a required part for installation of a Banks Power Brake on your 2003-2004 5.9L Dodge Cummins 235, 250, or 305 hp rated engine equipped with a automatic transmission. The manual transmission does not require the use of this product.
Banks electronic braking device automatically activates when conditions call for braking.
