AEM 30-7111 Infinity 712 Stand-Alone Programmable Engine Management System
AEM Performance Electronics has developed a marine specific EFI solution using its Infinity standalone programmable ECU platform. The Infinity’s software architecture for marine applications includes features that are critical to successful operation in a marine environment, as well as additional capabilities not commonly found in many popular dedicated marine EFI systems. These include boost control, electronic throttle control, multiple mapping with map switching capability, flex-fuel blending, oil/coolant/fuel/lean/overboost, engine protection, user defined inputs & outputs, data logging up to 64GB and more. The Infinity’s housing is sealed and has IP67-rated ports for tuning and data logging (dustproof, waterproof to 1m).
200MHz Processor and Real Time Operating System
The Infinity ECU is built around a latest-generation 32 bit floating point 200MHz automotive processor and Real Time Operating System (RTOS), which is capable of processing 400 MIPS (millions of instructions per second). By comparison, common competitive systems typically use 20MHz to 50MHz processors. To our knowledge, the Infinity ECU currently has the fastest processing speed of any aftermarket Motorsports ECU available. This allows the Infinity to do more, faster, in a more stable programming environment.

Features
Each Infinity ECU includes ignition coil outputs and injector drivers equivalent to its name (712=8 outputs/12 drivers with up to 16 injectors available semi-sequential).
The Infinity’s airflow-based tuning models simplify start up and speed up the tuning process by eliminating many of the lookup and trim tables (Correction Tables) necessary in previous generation ECUs. Combined with AEM’s industry leading after-purchase support system, including free technical support, the Infinity is the ultimate engine control solution for competitive marine applications.
