Heat is a tuners number one enemy and can cause serious decreases in power and efficiency. On most cars the intake manifold bolts directly to the head and transfers tons of heat which causes hot air to enter the engine. GrimmSpeed has a solution to this however by using their phenolic spacer. This spacer effectively stops heat transfer and keeps air temperatures cooler in the intake manifold. In most applications you will see gains anywhere from 5-10whp and drastically cooler intake temperatures. This kit includes extended bolts and washers and has everything needed for the install.
